Movie mixing surround studio acoustic design

Modern cinema requires both state-of-the-art picture and high quality sound. This careful balance can only be achieved in an ideal environment with proper equipment. Film mixing is best done in a large, acoustically treated room with a big screen to replicate true theater environments. It is also imperative to keep internal ambient noise as low as possible. This is achieved through proper acoustical isolation and by dedicating a separate machine room for noisy equipment. To avoid disturbing the neighborhood when monitoring at reference sound levels, it will also be required to install proper sound isolation from inside to outside.

We take design seriously. We design film-mixing rooms to accommodate the latest Dolby and DTS surround sound formats. A meticulous A/V system design is essential to match equipment and acoustics. We work closely with you throughout the design process to help you select user-friendly state-of-the-art studio equipment, including speakers, mixing boards, outboard gear and projector, and create the best space to house your selections.
